Capiz is a natural material and the discs differ slightly in tone and translucency across a single frame, which is part of the effect. Expect variation between individual pieces as well as within one.How do I clean it?A soft dry cloth or a dry brush on the shell, and nothing more. Capiz is thin and brittle, and liquid cleaners will dull the surface and can lift the discs from their backing. Apply glass cleaner to a cloth for the mirror only, keeping well clear of the frame.Can it go in a bathroom?No. The construction is 40% MDF, which swells permanently once moisture reaches it, and capiz shell itself does not tolerate sustained humidity.
