Please note: all our diffusers come packaged and sealed with a small plastic spill-proof stopper to prevent their contents from leaking during transport or shipping. You will need to remove the diffuser from the packaging; then carefully (1) remove the bamboo lid from the diffuser; then (2) remove the plastic seal from the inside of the diffuser; then (3) replace the bamboo lid back on the diffuser and gently tilt the diffuser upside down for 3-5 seconds to begin the diffusing process. Then (4) remove the bamboo lid, replace the plastic seal, and replace the bamboo lid back on top of the diffuser.
