The Caracol Rug transforms a natural specimen into a lighthearted modern statement. Part of a collaboration between Charlap Hyman & Herrero and Patterson Flynn, this handmade snail -shaped rug is crafted from 100% natural abaca fiber. CHH was recently recognized with the 2026 National Design Award for Interior Design by the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum. Inspired by 17th-century cabinets of curiosity, the Caracol's signature spiral shell is hand-coiled by skilled artisans, giving it an irresistible sense of energy and movement underfoot.
