Caramalt has a brilliant golden colour and a full caramel flavour (guess that's how it got it's name). The lightest of the crystal malts, it is made from green malt but roasted at a lower temperature and shorter time than your typical Crystal malt. A great all rounder, use it for any type of beer from golden lagers to darker ales. Recommended up to 15% of grain bill.
