Carbon Based Lifeforms is a Swedish electronic music duo formed 1996 in Gothenburg by Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Segerstad. Originally an electronic dance music duo, their style h as turned toward ambient music, and their stated goal is "to combine earth and space in fine-tuned, but still solid, musical visions, seldom forgetting the irreplaceable TB-303". The TB-303 is a Roland bass synthesiser. The duo has collaborated on dance music productions and played live at the Swedish Museum of Natural History Planetarium.
