With its wide, flat base, lower sidewalls, and two, hand-forged loop handles, the Carbon & Copper Oven Roaster is designed to slide easily into the oven, while working just as well on any type of stovetop, or even outside over the open fire. Handmade in Somerset, England by Alex Pole Ironwork, each pan, available in 8" and 11" versions, is spun one at a time from solid carbon steel. Pre-seasoned with rapeseed oil, the carbon steel is naturally non-stick and its qualities only improve with use. For searing, frying, sautéing, and roasting, the heat retention and versatility of carbon steel is prized by professional chefs. Alex includes a 100-year guarantee with every piece of cookware.
