This trick was invented by Laurie Ireland. This very attractive trick was featured by Blackstone and many other famous performers. The Duck attracts immediate attention, so it's perfect for kid shows. Senator Crandall created a routine for bar work that is full of laughs and fun for adults.Effect: A spectator selects a card (no force), remembers it, and returns it to the deck. The deck is placed into the Duck's feed box, as in the illustration. The performer holds the Duck, and asks him to find the card. The Duck then reaches down, bites a card, and comes back up with a card in his bill! Of course, it is the selected card!You can have as many cards selected as you wish. The Duck will find them all, one at a time. There are many comedy bits that make the Duck even more fun. You can make the task harder for the Duck by blindfolding him. He can 'bite' the performer. He can lay an egg that you produce. He can give a religious message if you use Bible Verse Cards. He can even spell if you use an Alphabet Deck.
