By revealing only a portion of the cards, the sensitivity for the radio signal is substantially reduced but sufficient for contact over short distances. These RFID (Radio-Frequency IDentification) or NFC (Near Field Communication) cards increase convenience, but consequently the risks too. Warranty All Secrid products have a standard warranty of 2 years. This is extended by an extra year, totalling 3 years of cover, when your wallet is registered with Secrid using its unique ID number.
