Traditional rectangular climbing nets are made on a 12" grid using 5/8" rope. Nets with a looped border hang and wear better than straight bordered nets. Nets with looped borders c an be made on any odd foot dimension only. (e.g. 5x7 or 9x13) Wire rope thimbles can be added to one side of the net for better rope wear at attachment points.
