A wine from the very popular and famous region; Priorat. Tipped via a neighbour we ended up at this winery. Warmly welcomed by the winemaker and his wife for a long tour through th e winery. Between the 300 and 500 meters above sea level. The age of the vines range from 5 to the age of 70 and the soil is llicorella, characteristic shale of the D.O.Q. Priorat. Black fruit and smokey aromas, mixed with mineral, balsamic. It's strong in flavour and complex, the tannins are round and fresh.
