Shell Keyring Carl Auböck is on of the most influential figures of Austrian modernism. After working as an apprentice bronze worker and engraver for his family business in the earl y 1900′s he went on to study at the renewed Bauhaus under Johannes Itten. In the 1940ties he took over his family’s metal workshop in Vienna - that still nowadays houses the family business. The designs are sold worldwide and have gained a cult following.
