CARLTON Black and white pen artwork digitally enhanced with colour This is a digitally coloured version of Carl, the original and is called Carlton. My mum asked me to draw somethi ng normal out of the oceans of weirdness that I create. I did, at first, I drew a flamingo, but I had to add something in that had the Oakley taste, so I made the foot lifted out of the water a human hand. This gave it that Oakley feel but even Carlton is looking down at the hand and asking, “what am I?”, I purposely gave him a simple, normal name like Carlton as you would not expect anything unusual with a name like Carlton.
