It is more disease-resistant and produces larger, earlier fruits compared to most everbearing varieties. The fruits are sweeter than typical red raspberries. In the nursery, it ripens from August until frost, but in warmer climates, it ripens earlier. Typically, plants are spaced 3 feet apart in rows that are 5 feet wide. Alternatively, one plant can be spaced in the center of a 5-foot circle of well-prepared garden soil. The canes generally grow 3 to 6 feet tall. Suitable for USDA hardiness zones 5-9.
