A provisional crochet cast-on is used so the neck opening can be adjusted later if needed. Short Rows are worked back and forth across the shoulders and back neck at the beginning to ensure a comfortable fit. The yoke is then worked in the round with raglan increases. The work is divided into body and sleeves, which are completed separately and both finished with an I-cord bind-off. Facings are crocheted, and a zipper is sewn in at the end. The sweater is worked entirely in stockinette stitch and is turned inside out when finished, so the usual wrong side becomes the right side.
