Carpano is named after Antonio Benedetto Carpano who, in 1786, invented the modern day vermouth in Turin. This Carpano vermouth was so popular that the store needed to be open 24 hours a day to cope with demand. The Carpano brand is still produced today, nearly 250 years later. The stunning design depicting the liquor in a crystal glass was created by Italian artist Armando Testa in 1960 and is extra-large in size, in pristine mint condition in two separate sheets as issued and is extremely rare.
