July 25, 2026 Saturday 9-2 Spend a few hours in Mended Hearts’ spacious classroom and go home with a spacious Carpet Bag! This fun to make bag is suitable for a wide variety of fabric types and you can choose any color combination. In addition to the fabric and notions listed on the pattern, you’ll need to bring your sewing machine – a walking foot will be helpful. MHQ supplies irons and pressing stations in our classroom, as well as rotary cutting stations. Please bring your own rotary cutter and ruler(s), pins, clips, marking tool, scissors and the usual tools you like to use. You may wish to bring a sack lunch and a beverage (in a sealed/lidded container, please). A microwave, refrigerator, and ice are available. This class is suitable for confident beginners.
