This is the labour to install a CarPlay and Android Auto interface, which adds those features to your factory screen without replacing the radio. The interface itself is sold separately. What it costs and how long it takes Flat rate for the labour Two and a half hours for most vehicles Same day — by appointment, so your vehicle goes straight onto a bay Backed by our lifetime installation warranty What's included Connecting all of the wiring the interface needs Mounting the interface module out of sight behind the dash Testing every CarPlay and Android Auto function, and a walkthrough before you leave Where the time goes The interface sits between your factory screen and the vehicle's wiring, so the dash has to come apart to reach the screen's connectors. Once it's in, the factory features that share that screen, like the reverse camera and steering wheel controls, are checked to make sure they still work. Which install do I need? Replacing the factory radio with a new touchscreen instead is VHU-Install. Browse CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces to find the one for your vehicle. Bringing your own equipment? Contact us before you book. Whether we can fit equipment you bought elsewhere depends on the product and your vehicle, so we decide case by case. We can't diagnose faults in hardware we didn't supply without a separate troubleshooting charge. Booking Add this to your order and we'll contact you after checkout to arrange a time. You don't need to call ahead. If you'd rather book first, use our booking page to request a time at our Markham shop or at your home or work in the GTA. One thing worth knowing Every vehicle is different. Depending on make, model and year, some installations need additional parts — relays, diodes, resistors or a vehicle-specific interface — which are charged separately if required. We'll always tell you before doing the work, not after.
