The 2022 season was warm, with replenishing early autumn rain, a dry harvest finish, and ideal flowering conditions that delivered excellent yields and quality. Hand-picked between 22–29 March, the fruit (clones 10/5, 5, and 13) was destemmed and fermented separately. After 17–22 days on skins, the wine was pressed and matured for 10 months in French oak barriques (19% new), before blending and a further six months’ maturation in tank.
