Carved at the top of this charming cuckoo clock stands a rooster facing an owl. They are fitting symbolism of the hours of the day. The early rising roosters above a stalk of grain calls in the day, as the busy, nocturnal owl grasps a vine in his talon. The numbers on the clock's face are hand painted with white background and black numbers. The clock is weight driven by two cast iron, pine cone weights.
