This compact form of Caryopteris has deep inky-blue buds that open to large cobalt-blue flowers, which are profuse on erect stems from late August to early October. Best of all, th e rounded compact habit means 'First Choice' requires little pruning and won't have the floppy habit some cultivars exhibit. Pest and disease-free, it reaches about 36" at maturity.
