The Casa (House) Blend provides what I believe many are seeking when they enter the specialty coffee scene: A cup of coffee providing a nice fruity flavor, but still has a chocolat y or smooth undertone that give you the same enjoyment you had previously. The blend is a mix of washed Honduras, grown in the region of Pacavita at 1400-1700m and a washed Guatemalan grown in the Cubulco region at 1600-1800m. The roasting process utilized keeps as much of the origin flavor as possible while still allowing the coffee to develop a nice chocolaty flavor for balance. The tasting notes are Chocolate, Raspberry and Vanilla, while the cupping provides a bright, juicy body that isn't too acidic.
