Solid sterling silver ring, hand carved with non-linear ridges and curves to reflect the flowing, cascading movement of water or liquid metal. An ode to Picasso’s line, form and fi gures of The Fall Of Icarus (1958) and the movement of our oceans that flow and crash around us.The swimmer expresses Picasso’s internal dialogue. A struggle between good and evil. Re-working of the story of Icarus from Greek Mythology, picturing the swimmer who falls to his death.
