Like our Maple Leaf design, this image is taken from one of my original photographs, which I actually used to use to ornament vessels in my glassblowing days. Once I started printi ng Blackhare tees, I thought it would like great on a shirt, too. All of Flora designs, including this one, start with macro photos of different types of leaves that capture their delicate lines and veins. Then these images are digitally edited to enhance the contrast and create transparencies, which are exposed onto the silkscreens. Next, they're handprinted onto the shirt fabric for a crisp and super elegant print. Read more about the creative process behind these tees.
