Handcrafted in the U.S.A., this classic American Case Axe Handle is about 4 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 2.9 ounces. The handle is Peach Seed jigged Dark Re d Bone with a Nickel Silver Case Traditions Inlay shield. The bolsters are Highly polished Nickel Silver. This knife utilizes a 3 3/8" Locking Clip blade with a plain edge, flat taper grind, and a nail nick. Stamped with pattern number BR61135 CS, the blade material is 1095 Carbon Steel with a mirror-polished finish. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly.
