First introduced in 2004 by Johnny's Seeds, Caseload is an open-pollinated variety of shelling pea that produces large, flavorful peas on compact 2 to 3-foot-tall vines. Besides be ing one of the earliest shelling peas we offer, Caseload boasts the ability to remain sweet and flavorful for long periods without turning starchy and tough. Caseload's large peas are reputed to be some of the best-tasting around and are perfect for freezing, canning or fresh eating. Caseload matures approximately 55 days after sowing.
