Rooted in centuries of Inner Mongolian cashmere tradition, this blanket is woven in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia - the region where the world’s finest cashmere originates. It is produced in a workshop owned and led by a local woman. Crafted from 100% locally sourced, lab-tested cashmere, the blanket measures a generous 127 × 178 cm. It is produced by local artisans (mostly women) in atelier established in 2009. The workshop is certified for ethical working and environmental practices (WRAP, BSCI, and ELEVATE). The texture recalls the region’s long tradition of woven cashmere. Supple in drape and exceptionally soft to the touch, it is made as a lasting piece of comfort. It is finished with a barely visible, wave-like texture that lends an extra touch of refinement and sophistication, giving the surface a gentle, elegant shimmer. We are proud to work with this atelier and to support the community that has carried the tradition of cashmere production for generations.
