Gepard Garn Cashmere Klassik is 100% quality cashmere. It is a very high-end cashmere with a lot of volume, which means you can knit with it on a large range of needle sizes from 3 .5mm - 5.0mm 25grams = 105metres - 112metres. It all depends on how much you stretch the yarn 100% Cashmere made in Italy Weight: Fingering/4ply (but can be knit to a variety of gauges) Recommended Needles: 3.5mm – 5.0mm depending on desired gauge: For shawls we recomend 4.5mm - 5.0mm and for sweaters we recommend 3.5mm - 4.0mm Care: Hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry. For high quality cashmere, long, uniform fibres are used - unlike cheaper cashmere which is often produced from unsorted, mixed cashmere with short fibres and varying quality. Cashmere is a strong, wash durable fibre. The more you wash your cashmere, the softer it gets. If you're knitting a shawl to give as a present - then wash it before giving it away. Show more
