This exceptional whisky is crafted from locally sourced, 100% floor-malted rye and barley at our grain-to-glass distillery, where traditional production methods shape its rich and bold character. In April 2020, the cask was filled with our characterful R.Y.E., where it will continue to draw in the rich nuances of maple syrup through to 2027 - making it 7 years of maturation. Stauning R.Y.E. is known for its notes of freshly baked rye bread, pepper, vanilla and citrus. The maple cask takes the experience to a new level with deep notes of dark syrup, burnt sugar and a velvety mouthfeel that complements the rye’s spicy edge.
