It has been matured in 1st fill Oloroso sherry butts and 1st fill Oloroso sherry barriques then bottled at cask strength 57.3%, non-chill filtered and natural colour. Within this small batch single malt are: 5x 1st fill Oloroso sherry butts. Initially the spirit was matured in rejuvenated refill (dechar/rechar) sherry butts for 9 ½ years then finished in 1st fill Oloroso sherry butts for 18 months. 13 x 1st fill Oloroso sherry barriques. Full maturation in Oloroso sherry-seasoned ex-wine barriques from Bodegas Hidalgo - La Gitana. Tasting Notes Colour: Deep AmberNose: Blood orange, blackberry and rich coastal smoke.Palate: Dark cherry, tangy marmalade and caramelised nut praline.Finish: Long and warming, with spiced bramble jam over gentle ash.
