The Caspian is made from the buckle guards off an English saddle; these unique bags are truly one of a kind! Solid brass hardware and a closure featuring repurposed horse reins wit h a hitch post closure. The crossbody strap is made from vintage horse tack. The Caspian 002 is even more unique because it has the original owners name inscribed in the leather! Dimensions are approximately: 10” X 7” (across at bottom) X 2.5” deep. The Caspian is named after the Caspian horse breed. A breed that is considered to be rare and unique, just like this bag, just like you! We get most of our vintage horse tack from a local non profit, Skagit Animals In Need (SAIN). SAIN's mission is to prevent and respond to animal cruelty and neglect primarily in support of law enforcement. They hold an annual tack sale fundraiser every June.
