Rinrocca is a 100% Verdicchio from a single vineyard in the Castellaretta area of Staffolo that was planted in 1972. The grapes are hand-picked into small boxes, pressed immediatel y, and wild fermented at cool temperature in cement tanks. The wine is aged for one year in cement and for two years in the bottle. Riccardo Baldi, with is youthful verve (he's -- years old) is the helmsman of La Staffa winery in Marche. After taking over the vineyards he introduced various biodynamic practices and began his mission to craft age-worthy Verdicchio wines, and boy has he accomplished his mission. 13.0% ABV Show more
