The Castelli Nano Flex Pro 2 Bib Tight is the rain-or-shine bib tight thanks to the new Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric, a tighter-knit double-layer construction with water repellency treatment. The double knit blocks out wind while allowing air to circulate between layers so sweat and excessive body heat evaporate. The backside has a double layer so road spray is blocked. On the inner leg, a fully reflective waterproof fabric blocks rain and provides visibility on nighttime riding. The tights have minimal seams making these very soft, comfortable bib tights that keep out rain. The Progetto X² Air seat pad has a soft, stretchy, seamless, o layer that lies close to your skin. This skin layer is designed to protect against saddle sores. The cushioning layer has a Vario Thick construction invented by Castelli designers when they were searching for the right amount of padding to put in the best location of the seat area. The edges of the pad are thin. They gradually thicken to maximum thickness under the ischial bones where you sit. Perforated viscous comfort padding is added under the ischial bones and in perineum area for maximum padding in these highly sensitive areas. The padding makes these a pair of bib shorts with enough padding for protection on long rides while still being thin enough so a rider can be tucked deep into the handlebars with padding interfering with a smooth pedal stroke.
