The lightly brushed jersey that has replaced the fleece lining found in most win ter jackets makes the Transition feel like a lightweight, highly breathable jersey suitable for racing. The Transition Jacket is not designed for frigid weather, but the Gore-Tex Infinium™ X-Mid keeps away the chill that comes with wind. The same fabric has a high degree of stretch so the jacket fits like a race jersey. On the back, a warmer fabric maintains body heat while the breathability of the same fabric evaporates sweat.
