This lesson will breakdown the foundational concepts, mechanics and techniques of basic fly casting and present them in a way that is easy to understand and apply.Intermediate/Advanced: This lesson is designed to work on intermediate to advanced casting skills such as double hauling, casting in the wind, casting heavy or wind-resistant flies, casting sinking lines, and other various situational skills needed for a productive day on the water. I can’t tell you how many times I have hosted anglers in saltwater destinations, all over the world, only to find out that they haven’t done any preparation or practice for the trip they are on. They end up spending the majority of their trip just knocking the dust off or working out the kinks only to find it is time to go right when things are starting to click. Fishing trips and time are too valuable for that.
