The high altitude and exposure to south-east breezes results in a prolonged growing season and grapes of exceptional flavour intensity. Made by the talented Rob Diletti, the 2024 Castle Rock Estate Pinot Noir shows the lofty heights Great Southern Pinot Noir is capable of reaching. Plenty of vibrant strawberry and cherry aromatics leap out of the glass, accompanied by hint of spice and complex gaminess. The palate is packed with similar flavours (cherry, strawberry, raspberry), the fruit-driven, silky mouthfeel in perfect balance with the quality French oak.
