Casuarina Glauca ‘Greenwave’ is a hardy, evergreen Australian native shrub with a naturally compact, rounded shape and soft, fine-textured, bright green foliage. Growing to about 1.5–2 meters tall and wide, it forms a dense, low-maintenance hedge, screen, or feature plant. Its feathery, flowing foliage gives it a graceful, sculptural appearance, making it perfect for contemporary and native garden designs. To grow ‘Greenwave’ in Australia, plant it in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil. It thrives in various conditions, tolerating clay, sandy, and coastal soils, as well as drought, heat, light frost, and salt spray. Once established, it requires minimal watering and pruning, though occasional trimming encourages denser growth. Adaptable and resilient, ‘Greenwave’ is an excellent choice for low-maintenance gardens, coastal landscapes, and urban settings, providing year-round greenery and structural interest with minimal care.
