Cat6A Slim Stranded Plenum (CMP) Bulk Ethernet Cable is designed for creating high performance custom patch cables in high density networking environments. Manufactured with 28 AWG stranded 100% bare copper conductors, this cable features an ultra slim 3.5 mm outside diameter compared to a standard 6.9 mm Cat6A cable, allowing more cables to fit in network racks, patch panels, and cable managers while improving airflow and reducing cable congestion. The stranded conductors provide excellent flexibility, making this cable ideal for patch cables between network interface cards (NICs), wall plates, patch panels, switches, and other rack mounted equipment. Designed for 28 AWG RJ45 modular plugs, it delivers dependable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance for short distance voice, data, video, PoE, PoE+, and PoE++ applications. The CMP rated jacket with premium FEP insulation is approved for installation in plenum spaces, air handling areas, and drop ceilings while meeting ANSI/TIA 568.2-D specifications. UL Listed for quality and safety, each 1000 foot spool is sequentially marked every two feet for easy measuring and custom cable fabrication. Maximum Distance The recommended maximum total channel length of 28AWG is up to 96.2ft. The max length patch cable is 52ft when it is by itself and not apart of a horizontal run of solid cable.
