Among his colleagues is the young and handsome Dr. Marek, who receives a visit from his friend, engineer Rudík. Their attention is drawn to two young women seen through the window of the opposite building. One is Miss Irenka, the daughter of their office director, and the other is Nasťa, the director's girlfriend. During a celebratory party in honor of the office president, Dr. Marek is invited for lack of men to accompany the ladies.
