The CATE dining table is designed to be a sculptural centerpiece with generous seating. Its pedestal base is hand-shaped and tapered, a labor-intensive process that reflects the level of care and craftsmanship that goes into each piece. The solid wood top is approximately 1¼″ thick and finished with a softly under-beveled edge. Built from FAS-grade kiln-dried hardwood, each CATE table is made to order in our Connecticut workshop. The standard CATE is offered with an elliptical top and a coordinating pedestal base, though we’ve also created custom variations with oval or pill-shaped tops and bases.
