ESCF – CATIONIC FLOCCULENT Air flotation results in clearer underflows and greater through-put. ESCF is an environmentally friendly, liquid cationic flocculent formulated for use as a primary coagulant in the clarification of surface and waste water, and in oil breaking / de-emulsification processes. ESCF is effective, with a wide pH range thereby eliminating the need for post treatment pH adjustment. ESCF is chlorine resistant, effective at low application rates and easy to apply. PRINCIPAL APPLICATIONS: Gravity Settling Operations - improves floc formation yielding larger floc size and faster settling rates Clarifiers - all types Solid-liquid separation systems containing residual chlorine Settling basins BENEFITS OF ESCF: Eliminates alum or ferric mud when used as a primary coagulant Forms a low volume, compact, high solids sludge which is both biodegradable and burnable Less blow down is required resulting in more useable water and increased effective through-put TYPICAL APPLICATION RATE - (Primary coagulant): 1 - 10 ppm **NOTE: For optimum efficacy, apply prior to pH adjustment APPLICATION OF ESCF: Meter into the system with the aid of a corrosion resistant, positive displacement pump. Dilute at a rate of 1:100 in clean water prior to feeding to the process stream. For optimum results disperse feed stream and create maximum turbulence beyond the application point.
