One of our oldest cooking apples that's a great baker, also known as Pig's Snout. A large round/oblong apple greenish yellow with some brown/red flush and some russet. White, sweet , juicy flesh. Stores until the end of December. Catshead is one of our oldest apples, mentioned in 1629 by Parkinson in his Paradisi in Sole, Paradisus Terrestris. Triploid.
