A handmade, sturdy, robust, long-lasting, and high quality minimalist cat scratching post. This model is named "Cattan", a Scottish clan the chieftain of which was known as The Gre at Wild Cat.The CATTAN is made to be robust and long-lasting, with my very special Nepalese 10mm jute rope. It is fixed to the pole all the way up and will never unravel. The post comes in two pieces and screws together in 30 seconds flat without the need for tools.The jute rope I use is really good. It's a lovely, natural bronzy colour and has a tactile feel. The base has eight rubber pads so that it will stay put.
