This is the lower-risk option for TC buyers — the hardest transition (out of the sealed flask environment) has already been done. You receive a plantlet that's ready to pot up directly into your preferred medium.Source: These plantlets were grown by Kanjarin Nursery, a respected tissue culture producer. Bringing their work into our shop is part of how we extend access to quality orchid TCs.Note on hybrid varieties: Sibling seedlings from the same hybrid cross can express differently when they bloom — color, pattern, size, and fragrance may all vary between plants. Part of the appeal of hybrid TCs is this genetic lottery; you may end up with something genuinely unique to your collection.Grower's Choice listing: We hand-select each plantlet from current stock for health. Photos are representative — exact plantlet size, leaf count, and root development will vary between individuals. This is not an exact-plant listing.Care during establishment: Pot into a fine orchid mix (sphagnum, fine bark, or seedling-grade media). TC plantlets are smaller than typical orchids and benefit from fine-textured root support. Maintain humidity around 60-80% for the first month — a clear propagation dome, terrarium, or covered tray helps. Bright, indirect light. No direct sun. Keep the medium evenly moist but not waterlogged. Mist gently rather than drenching for the first few weeks. Hold off on fertilizer for the first 4-6 weeks. After that, use a very dilute (¼ strength) balanced orchid fertilizer. Insulation and/or Heat Pack strongly recommended for shipping when temperatures drop below 50°F.
