She graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City with a BFA in illustration. Kjersti’s early illustrations were inspired by darker, gothic themes. Over the years, she integrated other interests and focused on humor. Now Cat Coven is known for more whimsical designs, but still honors its root inspirations of Halloween, witches, fantasy and art history.
