At 40dB this wine fridge is of average noise emissions with quiet being 35-38dB, 39-41dB being average and anything over this too noisy for a kitchen setting. Some drawbacks of this wine fridge is that it doesn't have a lock, carbon filter (for maturing fine wines) and the door can't be reversed so can only be hinged on the right. It does benefit from reliable and accurate technology and will protect your wines as well as keeping the temperature regulated. The height can also be increased from 82cm to 87cm.
