A rich maroon strike strip wraps one side, adding both utility and a handsome touch of contrast. Ten matches are included, and refills can be found at any local hardware store. On the top is our CB mark, inspired by the unexpected parallels between my home state of Louisiana and my work country of India. What began as an exploration of the shared flora, fauna, and quiet overlaps between two seemingly distant places eventually became the mark you'll now find throughout our collection. Inscribed along the side are the words Kindled by Curiosity—a small reminder of what first sparked this company and what continues to guide our work. Equal parts functional object and keepsake, it feels just as at home on a bedside table as it does on a kitchen counter, ready to bring a little beauty to an everyday ritual.
