Boracol 200RH Timber Fungal Decay Treatment is primarily designed for preventative and/or remedial treatment of timber against fungal decay and a remedial treatment against insect attack. Boracol 200RH is a clear liquid with a faint sweet odour that is designed for surface application to wood. Thhe active ingredients are 52 g/L Boron (B) present as Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate 12 g/L Benzalkonium Chloride. Solvent 886 g/L Monoethylene GlycolApplications for Boracol 200RH Timber Fungal Decay TreatmentApplication of Boracol 200RH will assist in preventing decay by wood destroying fungi, including those causing brown rot, soft rot and will assist in arresting decay already present but not yet far enough advanced to substantially weaken the structure of the wood. Boracol 200RH may be used as a remedial treatment where the timber is being attacked by wood destroying borers such as lyctids and anobiids and termites.The unique solvent system of Boracol 200RH enables the product to diffuse into timber when moisture is present, thus enabling the active ingredients to move from the surface of the timber to the areas of where fungal attack may occur due to higher moisture content.However, timber treated with Boracol 200RH does not comply with the penetration requirements of Australian Standard AS1604 - Specification for preservative treatment.
