For the Reformed Churches to grow and develop in PNG it’s critical that they develop their own schools so that the children are well versed in scripture and well educated. The education system in PNG at the moment is not good. It’s not uncommon for some classes to have about 60 students on top of this. The teacher doesn’t always turn up and so often times the students are sent back home. Currently the Reformed Churches have developed four schools and quite obviously each one of those schools needs resources so that they can run effectively. The major resource is the purchase of My Father’s World which is used by our teachers as a standard curriculum for the four schools.
