Hundreds of acres of battlefield land are lost every year due to the rapid development occurring across Northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley. The Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation (CCBF) was founded in 1988 to address this rapid loss of our national historic sites. Since its founding, CCBF has preserved roughly 350 acres of the land associated with the October 19th, 1864, Battle of Cedar Creek. The Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation has been, and continues to be, an entirely private 501(c)3 not for profit that does not receive any state or federal funding. We rely on the generous support of our members, public contributions, corporate sponsorships, grants, and our dedicated volunteers to continue our mission of preservation and education. With your membership enrollment today, you will become an active ally in the fight to preserve, protect, and maintain America’s historic and cultural resources, specifically those under the care of CCBF and our partners. All memberships include a membership card, a membership packet outlining benefits (including a tax-deductible receipt for your generous contribution), a 10% discount (or otherwise specified) for CCBF official merchandise such as apparel, souvenirs, and more, and advance notice of exclusive battlefield tours, private receptions, and meet and greets with historical figures. All memberships are active for 12 calendar months starting on the day of enrollment.
