Steel/Runner/Profile/Blade Holder After the acquisition of Step, high-end CCM skates will feature Step steel off the shelf. For the FT6 Pro, the ever-popular Step Blacksteel will be the stock steel. This carbon-coated steel is regarded as one of the highest quality steel on the market, providing superior edge hardness and glide. This Blacksteel is also 4mm taller, increasing attack angle and turning radius.The Speedblade XS holder is mounted on the FT6 Pro skates for a sturdy base. This year, CCM incorporates an enhanced dial to make it even easier to switch runners in a pinch. This dial is standard at the NHL level.
